Sweet Pea Ice Cream - DOYLESTOWN

I discovered Sweet Pea through a Google search for frozen yogurt, but was pleasantly surprised to find that they offer delicious ice cream, cinnamon twists, soft pretzels, and other tasty treats. The prices are reasonable and the woman working behind the counter was delightful.

I would caution others against getting delivery from this restaurant if you live outside of Doylestown. There is no clear indication of their delivery zones, but it does mention that they deliver to Doylestown and nearby towns, excluding areas outside of that. Despite searching everywhere, I could not find specific information on their delivery zone when I had to cancel my order last minute. On April 28th, I tried to order ice cream and a gram for delivery to my sister in Philadelphia, which is 45 minutes away.

Good ice cream with limited outdoor seating in downtown Doylestown

This charming restaurant has a lovely outdoor seating area. My friend had the Take 5 Bar ice cream and thought it was delicious. I opted for the strawberry flavor, which was also fantastic. The kids loved their Cupcake and Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup ice cream choices.

I have heard some great things about Sweet Pea ice cream so I was so excited to give it a try. As previous reviews stated, it is a little tricky to find the location. It is in the same store as a Philly Soft Pretzel and both businesses could use more signage. The ice cream counter is front and center when you walk in. They have about 15 different flavors to chose from and they're all unique and delicious. I tried one scoop of the Cookie Jar and one scoop of The Bottom of the Cookie Jar and they both tasted delicious alone and together. The regular (2 scoops) was $5, which I thought was a good price for the quality of ice cream and size. I'm looking forward to trying different flavors next visit!
