Restaurant Gibraltar - Draveil

Good sea food for reasonable money. No English menu pictures in menu so you’d better speak French. Very friendly personal and good service.

We were staying in the nearby Marina and found the Gibraltar within easy walking distance. This was a most fortunate discovery as the meal and service were excellent.

Last night we visited with friends who had been the night before. We are staying in the nearby Port De Plaisance Marina. Been so close by was a bonus, but the actual restaurant is lovely. Seating inside or outside in a covered area in the...evening, there is more uncovered seating by the river on really nice evenings. They have a basic set menu which is very good indeed and several other set menus. There is a good wine list and the service by everyone was excellent. We experienced a massive storm while we were there and a nice French ladie singing to keep everyone entertained. Very good value at for people, courses and bottles of wine. Would go again if we were staying longer! Thank you

For those who remember the old gibraltar restaurant, which was probably the best draveil establishment, this new gibraltar has something disappointing at the level of quality in the plate and service. It is not frankly bad but it is much easier and the pleasure of what you eat is very standard. the frame remains the same, with a beautiful terrace on the breast in the beautiful days, so there is potential. The decor has been remade and modernized but it's a bit cheap at times, like the map (as much the object as its content), as well as the unprepared external tables (without tablecloth). The place deserves much better. The service was slow before, it is still relatively even if it is less understandable. with a humour, inappropriate remarks and a lack of practice. passion is elsewhere than here.This says if you have not known the gibraltar before, it may be your pleasure. But for me the value-price ratio has become poor and this establishment requires a turn to 180° if it wants to regain its aura of old or at least a new momentum. I won't go back until I read many reviews showing strong signs of improvement. in the meantime others move and get around.
