Estancia Steakhouse - Dresden

Simply fantastic. The service by far was very friendly and most efficient. The food is the best I have had in a very long time. I highly recommend a meal there for all the visitors of Dresden.

We ordered two main dishes yesterday on Valentine's Day for us and what should I say it was simply super tasty and more than plentiful The steaks were super tender and juicy the supplements were very tasty and fresh and we were completely satisfied

Love steakhouses and really looked forward to this. Restaurant reasonably busy, nice outside eating area, visit started off well with nice bottle of Merlot wine. I ordered a medium cooked 250g Ribeye with the king prawns and extra chimichurri sauce, partner and daughter both ordered the House beefburger. Little house salad served up prior to meal which was simple but fresh and tasty. Partner and daughter thought beefburger best they had ever tasted and they have tasted a few :) . Steak arrived medium rare but worse than that did not smell good at all and tasted worse, as normal let partner and daughter try without mentioning my concerns in case it was me. Neither could eat and 11 year old daughter stated it was off. Mentioned my disappointment to waitress and to be fair changed right away and next steak was as it should be, €12 for the 2 prawns with the steak seemed a bit extreme and €4 for chimichuri sauce that was so small and hardly edible with lots of dried herbs used! no excuses at this time of the year, should have been fresh and zingy, what a disappointment. In summary this is the worst meal I have had in my life albeit the other two dinners were very good. This steak was tainted and should never have left the kitchen, sorry but wont be back.

The restaurant on Fetscherplatz is close to our office and once a week we try and make it there for lunch. The lunch menu has some excellent choices, including the small but delicious black angus filet. Quality of the meat is exceedingly good. I love the ranger salad, the flavones are simply fantastic. Staff are courteous and efficient, ambiance is relaxed and comfortable.
