Unfortunately, this could not convince me locally even at my third visit despite its grandiose situation. I hoped that the unharmed unfriendliness of the service was taken out and wanted to give the restaurant a chance again due to its great location. also eating does not make it convincing. tasty flaky cakes are not art but this sausage is too high. the restaurant would not be next to the very popular ballhouse watzke lying that sometimes no free places would have offered it probably hardly any customership. it should make a stubborn if a restaurant in this location always has free spaces. I'm not going to dare a fourth attempt.
We have been there a few times in the last few years. so far in the summer in the beer garden, which is mostly well visited by the elberadweg with some self-service and with good weather. Unfortunately, this is something constricted right next to the passing bikes, but it's just that, still beautiful. Inside it is rustic and cozy, mixed publikum. the service/inhaber is a peeled original, we find them all supernett (I am also from Rh.-Pf. and there is a lot different from in sachsen, you should not take crumb;.) wine and flammkuchen as well as the specialities taste very delicious. Price/quality ratio is from our top. I still test the various flaky cakes through while my children want to be quite classic;-) whenever you want to feel pleasure in home cooking, which is not smiling, in dresden, you are right here.
We met on a beautiful Sunday here and enjoyed the wonderful view on the elbe. The food was very rich and especially the Argentinean rumsteaks and the cheap wein were already worth visiting.
We have been friends in the valley stubb several times and have always felt very comfortable. whether in winter in the cozy wine room or in summer in the magnificent outdoor area with the most beautiful view of dresden. the quality of the food is good and above all the delicious flame cakes are very popular. the offered pfälzer weine are very inexpensive and especially on the bottle wine days is worth a visit all the more.
