Tank And Libby's - Drexel Hill

I've been visiting this restaurant for a few years now, and there's always something to suit different tastes, dietary needs, and moods. It can get quite busy at times, but the service remains quick and attentive. This time, we decided to try Libby's special pancake for dessert, and it was definitely worth the wait! Of course, it was gone before anyone thought to take a photo!

Excellent food and service on every visit. The portion sizes are generous, so I always end up with a second meal!

The food is excellent, but I’m giving 5 stars for our server, Lisa! I had only been here twice, yet Lisa remembered my partner and me during our second visit, which was such a lovely surprise! I highly recommend asking to be seated with Lisa on your next visit. From now on, this will be our go-to breakfast spot, as the service and food are unmatched anywhere else in Delco.

I had a wonderful breakfast here a couple of weekends ago. The service was excellent; we were seated quickly and attended to promptly. I enjoyed the avocado toast along with eggs and corned beef hash, which were both delicious! I will definitely return when I’m in the area again.

During my last visit with my son, we were given different menus that had significantly varying prices. After making my initial selections, I had to completely rethink my choices when I discovered the price differences. When I brought this to the attention of the waitstaff, they merely shrugged it off. I’ve also attempted to place to-go orders, but often leave feeling like my order and pickup are seen as an inconvenience to the staff. While I can somewhat justify the high prices given the quality of the food (except for the no-refill policy on a $5 hot chocolate), I've noticed similar discrepancies between the prices listed on their website and what I was charged when picking up my order. Additionally, they impose an unexpected fee for using a card instead of paying in cash, which feels unfair and leaves me feeling cheated each time I visit. It would be better if they included that fee in the food prices and offered a discount for cash payments. I genuinely want to love Tank Libby's. If money isn’t a concern for you, you might truly enjoy it; I can at least guarantee that the food will be delicious.
