Laboheme Resturant - Drogheda

A birthday party with 8 guests was completely ruined by the terrible service at this restaurant. We waited at our table for over 90 minutes and still didn't receive our cocktail order. There was no restaurant or bar manager on duty. The smell of cannabis pervaded the establishment, which may explain the incompetence of the waitstaff and bartenders. Despite asking three times to speak to a manager about the lack of service, we were pointed to a middle-aged man who seemed to be the owner of the building, but not the manager. In the end, we had to leave and go home to order pizza because all other restaurants were fully booked. Thank you, La Boheme, for ruining my son's birthday dinner. I strongly advise against visiting this place.

We were here Saturday night for an early valentines meal.. the menu is very small not much of a choice. I had the chicken wings and my husband had the praws and both were really good. For mains I had pasta with chicken and a creamy sauce this was not good but my husband had the steak and he said it was good.. we order desert but after a 30 minute wait we decided to leave.. the manger Ower was doing his best to sort out the bad staff and service

We chose this place as my wife's family has been to most places in Carlow... I couldn't find a menu online and it is was advertised as tapas so were a bit anxious turning up. When we got the menu it was quite small....but we were pleasantly surprised. I got baby ribs, delicious, my wife got enchiladas, a huge portion. Others got pork sliders, chicken burger and a huge beef burger. Also got side of filled jackets. The beer selection was good. No wine list but told a new one is coming in new year. Finally, inside it was very decorative and warm. The staff were also friendly. Good value too. 7/10

This charming pub has friendly staff and features live music every weekend with a great variety of talented musicians. I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys live music.

Lovelly gem in the centre of carlow town well worth a visit i want to do somethink with the wife and go try somethink new and a spot i was never at so we when here on frist arriveing the place was lit up so well the 2 lads that where working was amazing friendlly and readlly in inviteing and welcomeing which i really like the drinks was great and for the food amzing have been too a few tapes over the years and there dishings are alot bigger for the same money eles where and you can get what ever drink ya can your not just getting wine and craft beers as i dont drink wine or caft beers i could get my own beer which i really liked i would 100 per cent tell anyone going do for real its outstanding and will be back plus its has a great back bar with live music every weekend
