Stratos Pizzeria - Drummondville

I have been ordering their delicious pizza or their excellent poutine for a long time. When ordering pizza, you have the choice between regular, thin or thick crust. We always choose the thick crust and when we say thick, it also comes with a generous amount of toppings, it's worth the money. The pizza sauce is delicious, the cheese stretches nicely and everything is fresh, it reminds me of the pizzas from my childhood pizzerias. For the poutine, there is also a good selection and choice of sauce. Then I started going there for breakfast. They are delicious and for only $6.95 on weekdays, you get 2 eggs of your choice, choice of meat, fruit on the plate, baked beans, good small potatoes, toast and coffee. Everything is fresh, the sausages are not shriveled, you can see that they are freshly made. The eggs are cooked just right as we like them. Everything is hot and served promptly. Last weekend, we decided to try the restaurant for dinner. What a joy, there is a well-filled daily set menu in addition to the usual dishes (pizza, lasagna, pasta, smoked meat, club sandwich, chicken, etc.). For my part, I chose scallops with Caesar salad, an appetizer of garlic snails, including coffee and dessert for $15.95. My partner chose the same appetizer but with veal parmagiana cutlet for the same price. The food was very good, all served hot. The service was very good and served in a very reasonable timeframe. I was delighted.

I first discovered this franchise in its early days in Trois-Rivières, and people came from far and wide to taste their generous poutine and pizza. But now that their name is established, it just seems like any other restaurant. I have often been disappointed by the price compared to what I receive in a restaurant or on delivery. The only good point in my opinion is the breakfast. It’s good and cheap, but between you and me, who messes up eggs, toast, and bacon?

Pizzeria Stratos is a chain of pizzerias originating from Trois-Rivieres. They have locations all over Quebec, but none in the greater Montreal area.
