The Lewiston Loch Ness Inn

I had a great time and the meal was delicious. I tried the vegan burger, and it was definitely worth it. Be sure to make a reservation in advance, as the place was fully booked.

The menu had changed from what was listed online, but there were still a few vegan options available. The mushroom starter was excellent, and it was followed by a delicious butternut squash dish that was both satisfying and light. I loved the vegan garlic bread, and the sticky toffee pudding was absolutely divine.

I drove here the other night after following Happy Cow to a restaurant, but all I found were houses, and since it was November, I couldn't see much in the dark! So, I headed closer to my campsite and decided to try the Lewiston. I didn't have a reservation, but I was seated right away. The staff seemed well-informed about the previous review from November 22, 2021.

Cannot remember the names of the meal we got, but everything was vegan and it was really nice as a little lunch.

Very tasty homemade soup and a reasonable falafel burger for main. Nice to see a vegan dessert option as not many around this area. Sticky toffee pudding even came with vegan ice cream.
