The Millrace - Drumshanbo

We stopped at The Millrace randomly because we needed a place for a quick bathroom break. The four of us had a pint while we were there. Out of our travels in Ireland, we sampled MANY pints of Guinness, and we all agreed that this was the second best Guinness that we tried. The bartender was super sweet, and we had a nice chat about Dolly Parton. Stop in for a delicious beverage!

I made a brief stop with a friend at this bar on our motorcycles for a cup of coffee on a rainy day. The inside was cozy and warm, and the waitress was very friendly, offering us some suggestions on places to visit in Ireland. We really enjoyed our experience! Food: 4, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 4.

This is a fantastic no-frills pub featuring a pool table, a selection of half a dozen draft beers, a great range of spirits, and an excellent bartender. Price range per person: €1–10. Service: 5/5. Atmosphere: 5/5.
