The chips with green salsa were excellent, but I wasn’t a fan of the red salsa. Despite that, we decided to return. On my second visit, I sampled several different tacos—hard beef, asada, carnitas, al pastor, and lengua—and I enjoyed each one. My friend ordered the shrimp burrito, which was also delicious. I got a milanesa torta to go for my girlfriend, and she thought it was pretty good too. Surprisingly, the red salsa that I didn’t like before tasted much better this time. I’m not sure what changed, but it’s definitely enough to keep me coming back. I hope my first experience was just a fluke, but only time will tell.
We decided to visit this restaurant on a whim, and we were absolutely wowed! The food was fantastic, and the staff were incredible. Rating: 5/5 for the food!
I absolutely love the carne asada plate; it's both delicious and satisfying! Food: 5/5
The food was decent, but not exceptional. I ordered the lengua burrito, which lacked strong flavor and was wrapped a bit loosely. The size of the burrito was satisfactory. Their red salsa was quite good, but I wouldn’t choose to dine here again—not because it was bad, but because it simply didn’t leave a lasting impression.
You can't go wrong with Picosito! It's a charming little hidden gem of a restaurant.
