Love Fish n Chips - Dubbo

The salt and pepper squid was very good but the battered hoki was a bit dry, the calamari was chewy, the prawn cutlets were very ordinary, just reheated frozen cutlets, the hamburger was only just passable. I won't be coming here again.

This is a popular takeaway.. the salt and pepper squid is very good takeaway on the highway.. the Asian dishes are all very good and freshly prepared. the fish n chips are good .. there is better in town.... but is good by any standards.

Battered or crumbed sea bream is always cooked to perfection. Not oily at all, takeaways are in cardboard base with paper bag sealed over the top, but with a small tear for steam to get away so that the fish doesn't go soggy. A nice touch.

Staying at a local motel decided to phone order Chinese food after reading the reviews. Ordered large fried rice and steamed 4 dim sims. $12.50 takeaway. Was ready in 10 minutes. All tasty and hot. Will try fish & chips tomorrow night as that looks good as well.
