The food was delicious as it is always! Service was great and we really enjoyed the pianoman!
I went to La Scala last time hoping that I would enjoy it as much as all my previous visits. But this was the WORST visit I've ever had. We invited two others, and our waiter seemed like he was very indifferent when he is there - almost irritated. My husband ordered a salad. He didn't bring it. My husband got his main meal and reminded the waiter that he had ordered a salad. The waiter said he'd take it and take it out of the account. It was NOT taken out of the bill. I got my food and had Chicken Parm with Alfredo. The noodles weren't even warm. I had asked for some extra sauce I had poured on my meal, so I asked the waiter to heat up my meal in the microwave. He brought a whole new meal that got rid of the sauce I wanted, and the noodles were COLD again. This time I told the waiter and he heated it in the microwave. It took forever to get any refills. Gosh, I really wanted this to be a great experience because I absolutely LOVE La Scala. It certainly made me wish that I had not gone back for a last experience because I would rather have remembered all the wonderful times there. The waiter took so long to do everything we just paid, as it was and didn't say anything about the salad. We spent $150 for dinner and wish we had gone to Chick-Fil-A instead. SOOOO disappointed!
La Scala has always been a fantastic restaurant. It is unfortunate to see that COVID-19 has forced another family business to close. The food was always delicious, the atmosphere was very cozy and enjoyable. I will miss the weekend nights with the piano player and the friendly staff. Wishing everyone involved the best of luck in the future.
Unfortunately, LaSacala is closing it’s doors. This was our last wonderful meal there.
