It's the perfect place to take a break during a shopping trip. We enjoyed crispy halloumi eggs Benedict, sweetcorn fritters, a homemade apple tarte tatin, and a refreshing green juice. The service was excellent and we look forward to returning to try more items on the menu, as everything sounded delicious. Thank you!
What is it about not being ablwe to get a coffee in a café anywhere in Dublin on a Satruday night, besides having to go into a pub. We tried numerous places, but all without luck. We decided on trying Brown Thomas's and bingo! Their café was still open. Our first time being here. 2 Hot chocolates, a coffee and 3 cakes all for €20.95. Not bad at all. Very welcoming Staff was an added bonus. Did the job, and we will come back for sure.
Brown Thomas will keep you busy window shopping for ages nice to know that you can make use of there very attractive Bar Cafe good choices on offer and very nice well attired waiting staff with smiling faces.
Like in the restaurant we appreciated the warm and professional welcome the team reserved to us. A good address !
Since my last visit they have changed Browns Bar and Cafe to Green and Bean and moved it to the second floor. I like the extra light here but it's still not as nice as the original Browns in the basement under the spiral staircase. Food and service is good, it's a relaxing spot for a coffee and snack.
