Caffe Amore - Dublin

Despite being asked to confirm my reservation by Opentable, when I arrived on 16/2/2023 the restaurant was in darkness never opened that night. To date, Caffe Amore hasn’t answered their phone so I have no idea what happened. Thankfully, another restaurant was able to seat us that night. SHOCKING!!!

We have always wanted to check out this restaurant for a casual meal. The food was decent, but the service needs significant improvement. It felt like there was no organized system in place; we ended up asking two different staff members for the same thing because they weren’t following up. The staff appeared busy, but they weren't taking orders or delivering food, which left us confused about what they were doing. Unfortunately, our food arrived late, and we had to request our drinks and the bill multiple times.

In spite of a confirmed booking on Valentine 's Day, we were not let in because of gas problems . Almost ruined mine and my wife 's night.

We had a lovely experience. Staff very accommodating and food delicious!

Caffe Amore was shut when we arrived for our booking at 5.30pm Thursday evening last week and there was no answer on the phone. This was a pity as we made our way into the city for this reservation.
