Visited early on a Saturday morning. Service was confusing. We selected a menu and went to order the food. There is obvious place to order food. Asked to place my food order where coffee was served, But they would not take the order for food. I had to stand and wait around like a spare part for 5 minutes. The person who was obviously preparing the food for another customer, once finished and took my order and prepared it. The food we chose was excellent, but the same person then took the drinks order of coffees. The organisation behind the counter needs to over hauled as they will loose customers, who can't be bothered to wait. The management need to look at the organisational flow, and distribution of staff. There were 2 people of coffee and only one person on the food Stir it up a bit or the business won't survive. I would not describe the food as healthy, wholesome would be more appropriate. Hopefully the operation will be a bit more slicker for others.
Delicious. Lovely pairing peri chicken. Ample size good price. Extraordinary choice of dressings! Kind chopper.
I have had around 5 Salad bowls from Chopped since it has opened up at Donegal Square West, Belfast. My first experience was very welcoming and the food was lovely. However I am writing this review as the last three times I have been, I have left thinking Are there any people in there with an ounce of customer service and common sense? To name a few examples. I have went up to the start of the queue where the salad bar is and it took around 2-3 minutes to be served even though there was 3 employees behind the counter, all talking about their plans for the weekend. I understand having work chat (we all need it) but this seems to happen every time I am in. It is as if everything is on their time whenever this city is full of people on their work who rely on quick service. Probably the worst experience was when I was visibly getting served as I was standing in front of the Perspex watching my salad being chopped and the girl (who was lovely) asked me if it was chopped enough and I replied yes. As she was placing the salad into the bowl before adding the sauce, a man with dark hair asked if I was ok??? I didn 't know how to answer since I was standing where a normal customer being served would stand? I answered yes nevertheless. As I went to the till, the guy at the till took himself off with the a full bin bag even though he couldn 't have missed the fact I was going to the till. I am now standing waiting to be served and the same man with dark hair asks if I am waiting to pay- No words. My last experience was with the same dark hair man and again severely lacking in customer service. He barely chopped my salad and I have never had to ask if it could be chopped more as I am always asked. Instead he finishes up my salad and putting on my sauce while the other staff member beside him asked her customer if they would like it chopped up more. If I had not had these previous bad experiences I would have asked it to be chopped up more but I had and I think I had gave up on that store by this point. To sum up, Customer service is lacking, they are not conscious of other peoples time and extreme observation issues.
Enjoyed my food but the service was awful. Wasn't impressed with the same cutter being used for vegetarian and meat preparation
