Eddie Rocket's - Dublin

I went in to this restaurant with my friends after a gig in the 3 arena. The door man was very blunt and unwelcoming. Stand over there When I said my friends are sitting at that table the response was go on . This type of rudeness is totally unnecessary and damaging to your business. The table staff were very polite.

We were taken to our table by a waitress who didn’t even speak, instead motioned to us with hand gestures. we then ordered our food before even being offered a drinks menu. i don’t know if times have changed but since do we pay for our meal before the food has even arrived? on top of that the food arrived almost instantly which made us question if it was even cooked. the chicken at first appeared undercooked which we thought may be due to the lighting which was not a good touch but at the speed it arrived we wouldn’t have been shocked. when our drinks did arrive the milshake was brought out in a small glass alongside the leftovers remaining in the container that it was made in. Overall, the service was very underwhelming and the aspect of paying for your food before you get it seems wrong. if anything had gone wrong with our order they would’ve had to refund us rather than just take it off. they don’t care about the quality as long as they receive their payment before you can even see your food. As well as this, no staff came to check to see if our food was even okay, obviously because they don’t care enough as they’ve already been paid. The adults portion of tenders came with 3 goujons and a handful of chips, perfect for a kid, not an adult. On top of this at €10 this would be expensive for a kids meal nevermind an adults. Overall, very disappointed if i could leave more than a negative review i would. do not recommend.

Alina was extremely rude to a customer who came in to grab a little bit of tissue to wipe up his table. This was followed by us ordering which went fine however my boyfriend was treated horribly, every time he told her his order she got annoyed at him for not pointing at the menu. Once our order went through, she came to collect payment. I asked if we could pay after our food just in case we had to send something back. She then scoffed at our faces and proceeded to tell us this was just the way. I have been to this diner previously and I had always been allowed to pay after my food had been eaten, as is the way. So disappointed, they do not call it empty pockets for no reason .

As a Single father of seven who is not fooled easily was under the impression that Eddie “Rockets”had so called “ROCKETS” in it however was dissatisfied when my children couldn’t go to space. I had planned to leave them in space for a space camp for 3 months with a vacation planned but ended up eating chips after eating I asked to speak to Eddie who apparently DOESNT EXSIST other than that the fries were alright 7/10,DONT BE FOOLED unless your looking for lovely fries otherwise go on ahead

Had dinner here before a show in 3arena and it was great. Service was excellent and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Menu had plenty of options and the food was excellent!!
