The cafe has an open space layout with the kitchen visible to customers, making it very comfortable. The owner manager was friendly but efficient. I ordered a breakfast bap while my wife opted for a fruit scone, which she described as delicious. Our food arrived promptly, with the fried egg cooked to perfection. They checked our Covid vaccination certificates without any issue. The service was friendly and quick, with a small but extensive menu. The food was well-prepared and came with a delicious relish on the side. The prices were reasonable at €15.15 for tea and food. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with our experience at Encore Cafe in the Merrion Centre.
I discovered this cafe inside a shopping mall and was pleasantly surprised by their delicious fish and chips. I also purchased scones for the next morning and they were absolutely fantastic!
We went here for breakfast this morning and the sausage, bacon and the pudding was overdone. The toast was hard as a rock and mam couldn 't it in case she choked. I gave her some of my French toast which was lovely. I kindly told the manager when I was paying the bill and he said I would have got you more toast if you asked for it in a not so friendly and raised voice. Took my €20 and we just walked out. I 'll never eat here again.
I’ve been to Encore a couple of times recently and both visits have been very pleasant. The coffee is very good and seeing the staff interact with each other was great because they really treat each other with respect and kindness. They also treat customers the same way. All the food has been very tasty too. A great place to stop off in.
Next to Tesco, a 10 minute walk from Tara towers. A full Breakfast and tea or coffee for €11. It set us up for the day
