Grogan's Castle Lounge - Dublin

Been living away for a while. It's very hard to get a decent pint of Guinness where I live. This was the first place I went. Lovely stuff. Nice place and great staff.

Been a Dub sometimes you can't see the wood from the trees. I have walked past this pub many many times and never ventured in. My bad... great atmosphere, beer, staff and they do tosted Ham and Chesse sandwiches. Oh yeah the staff can serve more then in person at a time.

Nothing short of an ideal pub: no music, elegantly rough and essential decor, a wide range of interesting customers, good selection of beers, cheaper than most of the pubs of comparable fame. A special mention for the staff: no matter if there are ten or a hundred people, you get served quickly and kindly.

My happy place. I have been away for 3 gears and had my first proper pint of Guinness and a toastie yesterday. Still the best pub and atmosphere in dublin
