I highly suggest this restaurant because the service is exceptional, the food is tasty, and the staff is welcoming and accommodating.
I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant last Sunday. Fortunately, we were able to secure a table without a reservation. The food was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I went to the restaurant for a solo meal and had to wait a long time before my order was taken. The Tandoori prawns I ordered as a starter were not cooked properly, with one prawn being undercooked. The rest were tough and unevenly cooked. For my main course, I had lamb Pasanda with tarka dal on the side. The lamb was tender and flavorful, but the Pasanda sauce was bland and watery. It should have been rich, creamy, and filled with ground and flaked almonds. The tarka dal was supposed to be made with black lentils, but I was served yellow lentils that were watered down, resembling soup. The restaurant seemed understaffed, with too many guests for the number of employees working that Sunday evening. Some customers complained about the wait times. The beer was good, but overall, the cooking was poor and the service was slow. Two of the wait staff were friendly and accommodating, earning them a tip. The meal cost approximately €60 for one person, which is not cheap.
We 've been going there for years and love the food. We knew the previous staff who were very friendly, but the young waiter in there last night was very strange, which tainted the experience. If something wasn 't available he would say 'no you can 't have that ' and he kept calling the three of us (aged 20-64) 'girls '. We all felt uncomfortable throughout the meal because of his presence. I 've read on here that it 's under new management which makes sense.
