Stir At Clayton Cardiff Lane - Dublin

When we arrived, there was no booking for us, because die restaurant did not use opentable for the last 2 years. however they could find us a table, although it was a busy night with a show in the bord gais theatre. it took 25 minutes for 2 glasses of wine that we ordered to appear and come 50 minutes for eating. I will not use opentable again to book a table.

Had a booking for 6pm, came around 5.55 to say they have no booking. produced confirmation of booking and shown on a bar table outside the restaurant. complained to the staff and then brought to the restaurant, given a menu at 6.30 and said we are too late for beginners, ordered a main course each and waited up to 7.10 to tell the food, may be another 30 minutes. we had theater cards and had no choice as to go. an absolute scandal of a restaurant. I don't understand why they were under pressure because the restaurant wasn't so busy.

There seemed to be an issue regarding bookings and the manager seemed to be a little frustrated about this but we were seated and food was slow coming but when it came it was deicious

Lovely food and nice restaurant, service was very slow forgot some of our items and only after complaint did we get discount. Still expensive

Unfortunately food was cold as was the restuarant, beef was very fatty , just not good value.
