The hotel is located near a tram stop, and there were multiple places all of the row to grab a meal at. There was a small grocer nearby also, which was great for snacks and quick simple meals. Very pleasant stay and would book again.
The room was absolutely lovely for the price. If you are going to the Jameson distillery. Perfect place to stay. It's 5 minutes around the corner. Breakfast was lovely. Quiet area in Dublin.
No air conditioning in the rooms, only one small fan and single window that barely opens up. The hot weather and a bit of humidity made the room unbearable the first night. We just sweated in bed, and had a terrible night sleep. The front desk gave us a second fan for the next and luckily for us the weather cooled a bit, but still stuffy rooms. The rooms were clean and came with a weird tasty water bottle (we all hated it). The front staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a nice location, with stores, cafes and restaurants nearby and the Jameson tour.
The hotel staff were friendly and professional, adding to the pleasantness of my stay. The location in Smithfield is great for exploring Dublin. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. However, there was no fridge or air conditioning, and cleanliness was lacking, which was a significant downside. With improvements, it could be an outstanding place to stay in Dublin.
Wonderful place to stay, has all you could need and a nice little farmers shop next door aswell as some cafes/bars! A 20 minute walk to Temple Bar, and a 45-minute walk back from Croke park. Rooms were lovely, spacious, clean, well equipped and so dark in the morning that you sleep deep! My only downside to the rooms was the double bed was really small for two people! Staff were really helpful and friendly. Also kept our suitcases for the day after check out. Negatives! the entrance door revolves manually but it's heavy and small when you have a group and loads of suitcases. The fire escape doors need opening from the outside! It is pretty costly.
