The cafe was bustling with customers, which is always a good sign. Although there was a bit of a wait to place our order and for the food to arrive, it was definitely worth it. The chicken salad sandwich on brown bread was the best freshly made sandwich I have had in years. It was so fresh and tasty. I also enjoyed a piping hot Bewley's americano, which was heavenly. I will definitely be returning.
Visited Bundoran for three days this week. Found Waves Surf Cafe on day 1 for lunch. Shared a toasted club sandwich and each had the chicken soup. Both absolutely gorgeous, full of flavour and so fresh. Due to hotel issues decided on days 2&3 to have breakfast here too. Simply cannot say enough about the freshness and quality. Seeing the food cooked right from fresh each morning, to then devouring it was bliss. Could have stayed here with the teas all day. As for the staff...so utterly welcoming, friendly and more than happy to accommodate. Massive recommendation to enjoy the food and exemplary service to anyone visiting the area.
The sour dough chicken sandwich is to die for. They also occassionally do cheesecake which is out of this world and you have to be fast to get a piece as it goes so fast. I daydream about it sometimes.
Breakfast was delicious, lots of options for the whole family. Would highly recommend if staying in Bundoran. Delicious and reasonable prices
Thank you to the team at Waves today. It was a sunny yet 'blow yer head off ' kind of a day at Bundoran. To find a friendly cafe with fresh and tasty food that allowed us to bring in our dog was a real treat. 'Himself ' was offered a bowl of water straight away. Husband and I enjoyed soup, a toasted panini and a caesar salad. All particularly scrumptious. Warm and inviting with a lovely group of women looking after us. Keep up the good work folks. Thanks again.
