Great restaurant very authentic Italian food at reasonable price. Restaurant can be a little noisy. Lovely attentive staff.

I Monelli is very atmospheric, and used to be a much better place to dine. On this occasion, the service was chaotic and disorganised, and the dishes, particularly the main courses, sea bass (reluctantly filleted) and chicken in a mushroom cream sauce, were nowhere near the standard you would expect in a Dublin restaurant in its price category. We were hungry but neither of us cleared our plates. Perhaps the experience would have been better if we had stuck to pasta?

Excellent food with very polite attendants. Recommend for those who want to enjoy real Italian cuisine
