Coast - Dublin Road, Ratoath

After a long wait for our food the order was wrong, my wife's meal was stone cold , when my meal finally arrived it wasn't great. The restaurant manager was very apologetic and offered us replacement meals but by this stage it wasn't really worth taking the chance again!! Here's hoping breakfast is good? The only good thing about our dinner last night were the servers. 2 girls went above and beyond, they were very friendly and professional. The food was really bad. My friend found the piece of plastic in her ham hock, my and her steak were burned. My husband and I asked for medium rare and got it well done, not a huge deal but the flavour was terrible, tasted like charcoal. Didn’t want to complain, I don’t think the chefs knows whats he is doing anyway. Dessert as well terrible. My strawberry cheesecake tasted like double cream. Nothing else, just double cream. Overall, no one from us enjoyed our dinner. Except kids, their food was good (cheeseburger and goujons).

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and the services all over -including restaurant are top notch. They are well staffed and very kind and accommodating. The food is good for breakfast we enjoyed the cappuccino maker and hot and cold food buffet.
