I have been coming here over the years and always happy with the carvery. Unfortunately the last couple of times I was very disappointed. Today I ordered the Bacon, mash roast potatoes and veg. Bacon was just ok, but mash, roast potatoes and veg were cold. Plus when I got my cutlery from cutlery container they were all wet.. was like after washed they were just thrown in without the bother of drying them.For €17.50 food wasn't great quality and not worth it. Secret shopper, here at 14.55 on Thurs 22 Feb. Lovely experience upon entering as chef very friendly. However upon telling waitress I did not wish to pay for the extra for the double portion I received but didn't ask for, her tone dropped and she became very unfriendly, with no more Ps or Qs, and a flippant arm pointing to where to find everything. Shame as all other staff members are really nice here as is the food. Overall not a pleasant experience and will not come back. The list of allergens aren't updated. The waitresses don't know about allergens and some of them don't understand English at all. The girl with glasses was annoyed because I asked few questions.
