I have been coming to Schoolhouse for many years, and always come back. Rooms are nice and cozy and the pub/restaurant is wonderful with helpful and friendly staff. I love the rooms named after Irish writers. Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5

Lovely warm hostelry. Menu just okay would have liked more simple dishes. Where has roast chicken or striploin steak gone? Will return waiters a delight. We were undercharged but owned up!! Service: 4 Location: 5

We had an amazing time and will definitely be back. We asked for a quiet room and that’s exactly what we got. It’s like you never think we were in the city centre that’s how quiet it was. The room was perfect had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent and bonus with the free car park. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Romantic, Quiet, Great value
