They had flowers shaped as a heart on the bed for us, and a bottle of champagne. We were celebrating our honeymoon. The staff is incredibly friendly. The jacuzzi, pool, steam room and sauna are absolutely incredible!! We walked around the city, everything is super close. We had such a great time and highly recommend the marker hotel.
We'd such a wonderful visit to Dublin, Ireland. Our stay at The Marker Hotel made it extra special. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. There was a bowl of fresh apples and they offered us boxed water. Plus it's a walkable location into town. Hotel lobby is bright and clean. We arrived around 11:00 a.m. and even though we were exhausted, our travel agent had requested an early checkin. Unfortunately our room wasn't ready until the regular checkin time. The reason is because we reserved a room with a small room attached to ours with an extra bed. It was the perfect setup for our teenage son traveling with us. His room wasn't much bigger than a walk-in closet, but it was so nice for our son to have his own space attached to our room. Every single employee we met or came across at The Market Hotel were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our room, which was spacious and bright. The buffet breakfast was impressive. You can enjoy food from their breakfast menu as well as the food on the buffet. The wait staff, front desk, and bell staff helped answer all our questions. Wonderful indoor pool, gym and spa. A nice part was even though the hotel was busy, we never needed to wait for an elevator, like you often do in some hotels. The best part was after a day of sightseeing, a few evenings we enjoyed the hotel's bar restaurant meals. Food was very good. Plus walking distance to grocery stores and local restaurants. The only advice I'd give is if you need to get a cab, there can be a bit of a wait. Just let someone at the concierge know what time you need your cab by and they'll order it to be there around your needed time. I highly recommend this hotel and we'd definitely stay here on a future return trip to Dublin!
Beautiful location, staff is amazing, I needed to ship a box home and the staff assisted with DHL, food and drinks were amazing. Recommend the espresso martini and the fish and chips. Haha! I had it two nights bc I loved it!
Stayed here for 2 nights and it was very enjoyable and comfortable! The service was really one of the best. Pros: beautiful rooftop bar overlooking the city nice gym to work out extra friendly and helpful staff close proximity to city and mostly all walking distance complimentary bikes to bike around the city free umbrella rentals for all the rain! bathroom had heated floors! quiet, comfy rooms Cons: covered parking was expensive per night (around 30s) Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a calm, peaceful stay.
This review is for the restaurant. The service was very poor. I was sitting outside where no one came to check on me. And by the time the food arrived, I had no appetite after filling myself up with wine and peanuts.
