The place has a limited menu, but what they brought to our table was pretty good. the burger was really fresh and the pommes were delicious. the people, besides the use ordered an salate and it was huge.
We came here for burger many times but first time trying for brunch! I wanted to get Banana french toast but too bad they were out of it! Couldn't believe that but it really happened, so I decided to go with Banana Beignet instead. It was good and crispy, not too crispy to hurt your mouth when you eat, it's just perfect! I love their cream a lot! But! I couldn't taste any banana. NOT AT ALL. It's BANANA beignet but no banana, it suppose to come with caramel too, probably but there was nothing just powdered sugar. I'd say it's too dry, it should have some thing add on top. I later ask for banana added on, because there's really no banana! I'd recommend they make caramelized banana and put it on top! That would be my absolutely favorite. My husband got chicken waffle, it was good too! We both love chicken but not really for the waffle. Again, it was a little too dry. But we still come back and get Banana French Toast next time and give them 5star (I hope Overall, we love this place but I gave 3 start because I want some improvement, I hope they will make their beignet better!
I have not been here since before the pandemic lockdown. The menu is totally different and it seems like it might be under new ownership. No lobster Mac&cheese, no pulled pork on cornbread and no brisket. The menu doesn't even have the story of the history of Graceland and Pat and Gracie's. The food was okay but it wasn't the same or as good.
They should call this place “Bait Switches”. We were delighted to see their menu claiming that all burgers and sandwiches are served with hand cut fries (see photo). However, after mentioning it to the waiter, she said in fact the fries cost an additional $3.50. I pointed to the menu and showed her that it states that the sandwiches/burgers come with fries. She said that she knows it’s confusing but that it just means they are best served with fries and that they cost an extra $3.50…. If this is the case then it should also say “all burgers and sandwiches are served with an appetizer” or “burgers and sandwiches are served with dessert” or better yet, “burgers and sandwiches are served with another sandwich”. We decided to order our respective sandwiches and burgers as is and they in-fact were not served with hand cut fries. We also ordered our drinks during happy hour and the top of that menu said $2 off. When our bill came it was not $2 off per drink but $2 off the total drink bill. The food was fine. It wasn’t amazing but it wasn’t bad. If you decide to come here just be aware that they have a different understanding of the English language. I won’t be back.
