Bella Italia - Dudley

My recent visit to Bella Bella Italia in Dudley left me with mixed feelings. While the service was impeccable, and the flavors in the food were commendable, the overall experience was marred by some significant downsides. The most glaring issue was the portion size, which, given the steep prices, felt inadequate. Both the lasagne and spaghetti bolognese were served in portions that left me feeling like I hadn’t eaten anything. It was disheartening to leave an Italian restaurant feeling hungry and unsatisfied, ultimately leading to a post-dinner stop at McDonald's. Undoubtedly, the quality of food and the dedication of the staff were apparent. The dishes tasted good, and the service was consistently excellent, as one would expect from Bella Italia. However, these positive aspects couldn't compensate for the disappointing value for money. Sadly, I had to forego dessert, as the underwhelming portions made it difficult to justify spending more on the meal. I sincerely hope that Bella Italia reevaluates its portion-to-price ratio, as this has been a consistent issue in my recent visit. In conclusion, I've been a loyal patron of Bella Italia for some time, and I truly want to see them succeed. To ensure a return visit, I'd need assurance that the pricing aligns better with portion sizes and offers better value for money. Until then, it's challenging to wholeheartedly recommend Bella Bella Italia Dudley for a satisfying dining experience.

Very nice atmosphere, staff were brilliant and the food was delicious. We had a big table and the waitress was super patient.

Two weeks ago, my partner and I decided to grab a bite to eat at a restaurant. Despite arriving late, we were pleasantly surprised when Alex warmly welcomed us instead of telling us they were about to close. Alex took his time to serve us, charming us with his charisma and knowledge of the menu. He gave us excellent recommendations for our meal. The bruschetta starter was simple yet satisfying, and although I can't remember what main dish I ordered, my partner thoroughly enjoyed the spicy sausage pasta. We were so pleased with our meals and the overall experience that we decided to return this week. Once again, we were greeted warmly by Alex, who we later found out was the GM of the branch. He provided excellent service, taking the time to chat with us and offer more recommendations for our meal. We enjoyed a Mahou beer before starting with Gnocchi Bites with Chilli Jam, followed by Buffalo Pomodoro served with an Argentinian Red wine. It was another wonderful evening, so immersive that I forgot to take more pictures as I usually do. We have become new loyal customers, thanks to Alex's exceptional service. My partner and I went to a restaurant for my 30th birthday meal last night. We informed the waitress that we were both vegetarians and ordered a vegan spaghetti and meatballs. However, when the food arrived, my partner suspected that the meatballs were not vegan as they looked like meat. We notified a staff member who took the meal away. My meal also had to be recooked to ensure it was hot when we ate together. The waitress apologized and £20 was deducted from our bill, but the manager never came by to apologize personally, which I believe should have happened. The situation was unacceptable as we are strict vegetarians and avoid all meat. The odor of the meat made us both feel ill, and if someone with a food allergy had received the wrong food, the consequences could have been much worse. It was extremely fortunate that my partner did not have a food allergy. My birthday meal was ruined, and I believe we deserve further compensation. I am awaiting a response.

Came in on Friday 20th October for a late night munch with my children We got served all evening by a lovely lady Becky o She couldn’t do enough for us on this evening with her being busy herself She made us all feel comfortable and very satisfied We don’t go out for food very often so this was a big treat for us but this member of staff went above and beyond to make sure me and my family enjoyed our night and had everything we needed The food was also exceptional Hot and very tasty Thank you This will be our new thing once a month!!
