Brought my mum here for her birthday and had to apologise to her for wasting her time. Firstly, online menu and their physical menu didn’t correlate got to the restaurant and at least 40% of the menu wasn’t available if we had knew before, we wouldn’t have come. Everything we asked “sorry we don’t have it” no problem … ordered our drinks. Waited more than half an hour for drinks? Then my mum ordered gizzards starter, I order livers. 40 minutes later I get the livers, and mum is told there are no gizzards ??? So the whole time, what was happening? Why did they wait to bring out my starter and then say, sorry we don’t have gizzards? does that make sense?Mains come after about an hour, kids meal comes some time after ours, kids should be served first. The rice was so undercooked it literally tasted like pebbles, it’s shocking. Then the rest of her plate has a strange aftertaste and said it tasted like it had been left out for a while. Ribs I got were over cooked, can tell that they were left out for sometime as well, really dry on the sides.I can only say the waitress we had (light skin girl) was very nice, polite and understanding, even when I told her we can’t pay for one of the meals because it was genuinely inedible, didn’t argue or try to create excuses. But the place itself isn’t great. If menu is super limited with chefs on holiday, why not close? Instead of stretching yourself thin and making service even worse
Food was nice just the waiting its abit long but the environment is nice and really african
Lovely environment however you will wait for an hour for starters and main might never show up till you give up.Starter was too salty, management needs to step up 2 years since my last review and same issues experienced again.
Expensive that feel African no more changed the menu too much
