Sansibar by Breuninger - Düsseldorf

This place, located right above the Apple Store of Dusseldorf, is a good mix between a nice location a various menu and tasty food. They serve fish dishes and meat dishes with a little touch of Italian cousin.The waiters didnt speak a good english (and this is a minus). I absolutely suggest it.

Not my fave place to dine out in Düsseldorf but the view is not bad afterall. The food and price are acceptable. The service as well.

On the last night we went here and it was great, located above a department store, great menu food and service- nice wine as well own label

Having been assured this was a restaurant worth visiting, I took my daughter here for lunch today. The service was friendly but I have the feeling the restaurant lives off its reputation. Firstly, we had to wait a good while before our food arrived. Once it had, my daughter's € 30 burger was rare, having specifically asked for a medium burger. No one checked on us through the meal to ask how the food was, and my teenage daughter was reluctant to lose the edible part of her meal ( fries, bun, salad, dips) by complaining- it had been a long wait first time around! I therefore pointed out the raw burger which remained on her plate when the server came with the bill. We were offered a new burger ( what? At the end of the meal? With that wait? No thanks) or a desert ( not everyone likes desert). It was too late, we needed to go, and I was surprised they didn't just knock € 15 off the price or offer a voucher for a new burger. It was clearly a case of the client having to submit to new food then or there- or nothing. Not impressed.
