My local Angermund-Düsseldorf friends were not keen on visiting Duisburg but this place changed their mind A tiny hole in the wall place and we got lost driving around so I put on the Waze app which works perfectly here in Germany. NOTE: Bring CASH.... No credit cards accepted Lovely Laotian decor, fragrances abound from delicious food. Very authentic and unique. We sat down and they have a full bar so I ordered a Caipirinha cocktail . Authentic and delicious (strong) My first friend ordered a nice hot mint tea and the other one ordered a fresh orange juice. We ordered the assorted appetizer platter with authentic sauces. Really yummy. Then I ordered the crispy duck with the rice noodles And was pleasantly surprised that it was boneless and sliced perfectly. Friend #1 then ordered the fresh Victoria Lake perch fish dish with sauce and vegetables. Friend #2 ordered the pan sautéed whole white cod. Both came with Jasmine rice. See photos for eye-popping pics of The beautifully prepared dishes with homemade sauces. They also have vegan options which was impressive. It is obviously a family owned restaurant and I was extremely impressed. Five stars for cleanliness, comfort, presentation, service, and the food of course.
Very nice restaurant with friendly staff that offers authentic food at fair price. I do business close by and come on a regular basis to the place. only negative point is that they do not accept any credit card but if you know it you can manage.
Authentic spicy fresh food served up by the family mum cooks, the 2 daughters and dad serve). Offering a wide vegetarian and vegan choice, as well as meat dishes. A red duck curry that brings tears to your eyes. Modestly priced, cute restaurant located in an otherwise moribund restaurant landscape, it works like a jewel in a desert. I get weekly take away from here, and have organized a staff function for the nurses from my hospital here. Seats maximum 30!
After we got the recommendation from many pages to visit the laws, we finally made it tonight! I have to say that everyone was absolutely right! now to the report: first we entered the small restaurant and stood almost directly in front of the kitchen. we were welcomed very friendly and attentive and we broke into a free place. when the menus were handed over, we were asked if we were to explain them, but we wanted to fight ourselves through materie. very positiw: the menu is not overloaded large and yet they have many different dishes different directions. we chose a mixed starter dish, pigeon bark with garlic, green pfeffer, porridge, cucumber, carrots and wobble, tavanh garnelen with yellow curry, nuts and vegetables. there were jasminreis and glued rice. all dishes were very carefully prepared and tasted super. especially the sauces were absolutely great whether it was the homemade chilisauce, or the sweet acid sauce far away from the standard or the sauces of the main dishes! no trace of monosodium glutamate and cheap oil, as so often in Asian localities! we will come back safely and feed through the menu!
Simply very delicious food in lovingly furnished rooms by so wonderfully warm people. Your noodle soup is the best!!! Thanks for the nice evenings with you, I look forward to more:
