As we watched others come and go over 90 minutes, still no food. Our waitress Hannah was pleasant though not terribly interested in checking in with the kitchen as to the whereabouts of our order. Our meal arrived as we approached the 2 hour mark however I can only describe the output as sheer vindictiveness by the kitchen staff. One order of chicken strips was so badly over cooked as to be nearly inedible yet was miraculously cold. The other order of chicken strips with fries was mixed together in a fashion reminiscent of someone simply sweeping up the stray pieces or food and tossing them into a basket. To call it chicken strips would not be accurate as the largest piece was smaller than a standard Chicken McNugget and again, so overcooked (and cold that it was merely a crunchy briquet. No manager was to be seen. No quality control. No oversight. The kitchen staff should be embarrassed. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and simply call it teen laziness and zero work ethic but I can't help but feel they were being vindictive because a customer voiced a concern about the lateness of the order. I'll just bring snacks next time. (Btw, the bartender was fabulous! Great guy!
Located in the Chalet Spirit Mountain... First come, first serve dining with your average chalet food your average service. Slightly slow, but not enough to complain. Burgers sandwiches with salads soups served with chips or waffle fries. The grilled cheese was on 9-grain with cheddar, mozzarella, pepperjack. It was cheeseriffic! Yum! The waffle fries were seasoned and crispy the beer selection was okay as well: Stella, Moose Drool, Bell's Two Hearted, to name a few.The prices were extremely reasonable. $1.25 for a cup of coffee, $5.00 for a grilled cheese chips, etc. After a cold day on the slopes, this is a good place to grab a hot bite.
Went on a Saturday. Completely understaffed even though they knew they had multiple buses of people coming to spirit mountain. One waitress was taking orders and two bartenders were trying to serve 200+ people. You know it 's going to be an hour, right? Those were the first words out of the waitress ' mouth.
Good bar food but the real GEM is the view! Worth the drive up here for lunch on a clear day even if you don't ski! WOW what a view.
Horrible service. Sat for 15 minute and no one can over to take order. This is a very unorganized restaurant. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
