I visited this restaurant for lunch and I was very impressed with the food. I ordered an appetizer, pasta, and a small dessert, all of which were delicious. The owner/chef is very hands-on, which is evident in the high quality of the dishes. Taking into consideration the location, I would say that this is among the best Italian food options in Dumaguete, if not the very best.
I went to this charming restaurant for dinner and it was truly one of the best decisions I've ever made. The food was excellent, with a variety of menu options to choose from. The service was good and the wait time was reasonable. The portion sizes were generous and worth the price. You have the option to dine indoors or outdoors, but I found it to be a bit noisy outside.
The restaurant was quiet and comfortably decorated. The service was prompt and courteous, once the waitress informed us that they were out of garlic cheese bread, she suggested the bruschetta which was extremely pleasing. My husband and I ordered the fresh pasta dishes, he ordered beer and I enjoyed a glass of wine. Very surprised with the fresh pasta with the immense favor! I am sold! We plan to return again!
I stopped in for a solo lunch and ordered the 8 inch Margarita Pizza and a soda. The food was out in pretty quick fashion. The pizza was OK, but nothing special. It was crust, sauce, cheese and a sprinkling of oregano. I would have expected basil leaves and tomatoes, both of which are available here in Dumaguete. That said, it wasn't that bad, but I wouldn't do it again. Definitely cheap eats. The pie was P 84 and the soda was P 25. Lunch for less than $2.50.
