Lab-as Seafood Restaurant

If you're seeking a quiet and comfortable spot to catch up with friends, this is the perfect place. I brought a friend who is a priest as we wanted somewhere with a relaxed atmosphere and minimal distractions. I have been dining here since 2010.

Lab-as means fresh. The food was cooked, but lacked seasonality.

We were in dumaguete for a short visit and decided to try this restaurant after we walk around in the opposite. we ordered their Dumaguete Express and oh my what a tasty bite! the squid was boiled to perfection, not gum-like as some put it. if they like seafood in kokosmilch, I would definitely recommend this dish. the pig bits were nice and crispy. I think there is a possibility to replace it with crispy garnel instead. the mamsa was also very tasty (talakitokfisch in tagalog.) the eating takes a dae to get out, so they try to come when they are not hanging.

An absolute favourite in Dumaguete and I can't wait to return to enjoy the fabulous food, lovely atmosphere, great and super friendly service. Down to earth and simply delicious!!

Serves Filipino food. Have outdoor seating and indoor with AC. With ample parking space.
