On way home from Richmond pulled off 95 to grab a bite, so glad I avoided the normal fast food grind. The owner had the smokers going with that wonderful smoke smell over the area and knew I had to stop. I wanted some ribs but they were still on the smoker so went with the pulled pork. He was out of most of the sides (I usually get Mac n cheese w/bbq) but got the baked beans and was not disappointed. There were no meat bits but the beans had a sweet tang, was that a bit of bourbon? And were really good.He was in the process of getting ready for being open during the week, but for now (as of Feb) only open on weekends
I ordered two leg quarters and they had zero seasoning. Tasted like charcoal chicken. The collard greens were extremely sweet and disgusting. The cashier was touching her hair and fixing plates with no gloves, no hair net, or no sanitizer. The portions were good size but I had to throw the food away because in my opinion it was not edible.Waste of $25. Would not recommend or return.
The collard greens are phenomenal. If nothing else come try them!! I had a turkey leg and it was huge and delicious cole slaw was good, mac and cheese was missing something, beans were good. Didn't care for the potato salad but my bf liked them. I wish we could've gotten the cornbread but there was no option for online ordering. Service was very fast especially since I ordered online!
This weekend we finally visited Dyvine BBQ in Motion, after following them on Instagram, my mouth was watering for some delicious comfort food. The Jumbo Turkey Legs were cooked to perfection, tender and juicy with a smoky hint that made me want more; the Mac and Cheese was creamy, rich, and generously portioned comfort food at its finest, the Collard Greens were cooked beautifully, retaining a bit of crunch while being seasoned by someone's grandmother, my favorite were the Baked Beans because it reminded me of growing up in the 80's a sweet and savory sauce that I don't experience often. To top off this delicious BBQ I had a Grape Soda! The next time you are in Dumfries, VA eating here is a must! The staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to an overall fantastic dining experience. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Dyvine BBQ in Motion to any BBQ lover out there. I can't wait to visit again!
