This lovely family-owned hotel offers exquisite food that is beautifully presented and delicious. The attentive Robert provided excellent service, even bringing us a wine cooler for the bottle we brought. He also gave us helpful recommendations for visiting a nearby church and the famous Gretna Green, just 5 miles away. The hotel's attention to detail was impressive, and we can't wait to return for another memorable visit. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We stopped by on our way home to pick up some fantastic loaves of bread and a variety of cakes. The tearoom was bustling with activity, with a small line forming for takeout pastries. The high quality of the items and the busy atmosphere were both great indicators of a top-notch bakery.

I absolutely adore the food at this restaurant. The strawberry tarts are exceptional and rightfully popular, with a crunchy and perfect crust. The quiches have excellent pastry, with the ideal texture and flavor. The staff is friendly, and it's clear that the restaurant is loved by both locals and tourists.

Their link sausage rolls are great. Soft fluffy morning roll and 3 sausages. Fills you up. Their quiche pies are also delicious with both meat and veggie options. But their speciality is the haggis, bean, and cheese pie. Very popular. Their chicken pie topped with crisps is also amazing.

Great bakery, first class service , delicious sandwiches and very good coffee. I recommend you try this place
