Had a takeaway that was disgusting .curry??more like soup! No flavour. I would not recommend this place if it was the last curry house around. Wouldn't serve it to an animal!

Worst food I have ever had in my life we went all the way to castle douglas ordered food for 5 of us not one person 're I ever anything edible unfortunately we didn 't discover this till we took food back home nan bread burnt and stale rice soggy and tasteless chicken slimy chips backhet curry with no sauce never seen this before ever salad I think was scraped from the bin all in all utterly disgusting and to think we stood waiting for an hour on this muck will NEVER go here again

If I could rate less than one start I would do.... So we ordered food from this restaurant, it came to £26.30, expensive for just two starters and curry for takeout but were on holiday so thought we would treat ourselves. So we drove for 25 minutes to castle Douglas to collect our food. When We arrived at the restaurant we found it was empty so we just presumed it was a quiet evening. We took our food and traveled for 25 minutes back to our caravan. We started to unpack our food and to our disbelief we found. Lamb Tikka Starter Black and burnt. Chicken tikka starter Undercooked. Nan bread burnt so hard I honestly believe that if I hit someone over the head with it, it would most definitely knock them out. The chicken tikka balti was not balti... I know my Indian. So we called the restaurant... the female at the takeaway put the phone down on us a number of times, she shouted doe the phone and tried palming us off with next time . We called just eat. They was no help! So we decided to travel 25 minutes back to the restaurant, en rout to the restaurant we called them to give them a chance to contact Just eat to authorities the refund. They refused and told me she was busy with other customers. How rude! When we arrived at the restaurant we couldn 't believe the 6 unfortunate customers sat in the restaurant how unlucky they are. They asked if we had turned up with drinks for them, so we told them we had come for a refund. We placed the food on a table to present it to the customers, we showed it too them and they were shocked. The female came from the back and we instantly just got shouted at when explaining our issues to her. The 6 customers she then had seen the incident and decided to leave the restaurant and on the way out told the female that she needs to learn how to treat customers. So she got in our faces, shouting screaming constantly going psycho , so she picks the phone up and calls the manager, the manager was very nice and instructed the female to issue a refund.

Ate here last weekend in a group of 7. Service was slow. I ordered a chicken tikka saag that when it came out had developed a skin on top so goodness knows how long it had been sat on the pass. It was lukewarm to touch and the bowl was chipped. Hard to imagine a curry could be tasteless but it was. Orders came out haphazardly. It was clear there was only one person cooking. All the mains came out before any of the plates so food was sat going cold. The sundries we had ordered came out wrong so had to be sent back so that was even more waiting and when they arrived they weren't good. Crispy chappattis!! Others said their curries were alright tasted but everyone was disappointed bybthe general slow derive and state of the place. It looked very shabby and run down. The bathroom was disgusting. Nothing dry hands on. Loo top was cracked and the net curtain looked like It had never been washed. In general the place looked dirty and in desperate need of cleaning. I dread to think what the kitchen looked like. I won't be going back

I have dined at Islam's Indian restaurant several times throughout the year and have never been let down. The food is fantastic and the service is excellent. I would definitely recommend it to others.
