Imperial - Dundalk

Through word of mouth we decided to have breakfast in Imperial Hotel on Saturday. Fantastic. We were late and breakfast was just finished. Well, the supervisor Paul was so accomadating he quickly realized that most of the group were elderly and promptly asked all the staff to stay on and cook 8 full breakfasts. Beautiful breakfast. Orange juice,toast,croissants and full breakfast with a bit of banter and crack. Fair play Paul. The young girl was constantly cleaning and wiping that give the breakfast room a glow of hygiene discipline. Spotless. Well done. Very well run.

Went in for lunch, very tasty indeed. Had chicken cesar salad and it was very nice and very filling. Friendly staff made the experience.

Great central location in Dundalk with plenty of bars and restaurants close by. The imperial is a welcoming, cosy, warm bar and restaurant. The staff are excellent, food is reasonably priced and very tasty. Well worth a visit if In Dundalk.
