The Market - Dundalk

I was here last night and the staff were imcopentent apart from the waiter from Dublin, he was a gent. food presented like it came from a microwave. felt rushed to leave from the moment we arrived turned off the music to push customers out......chicken wings were dry no sauce, seemed like they were there from last week. drinks were sloppy and kept rushing us on our drinks. turned off the music at half must be new owners

Nice place for a bite to eat and a few drinks. Great tapas! Wish there were more vegetarian options

This is a lovely quirky venue. Very friendly staff. Brilliant selection of cocktails. And the bar man was excellent at making them. As for the food.... so I knew going here (as I did numerous times just for a drink) that you don’t go in...starving. I ordered the slider burgers. They were vile. Very tasteless. My other half ordered the wings and they were okay. My advice: this is a lovely place for a catch-up and to sip over drinks. I wouldn’t recommend food.

Visited on a Sunday evening. Negatives were.... It was cold inside, dirty glasses, dirty food menus, dirty cocktail menus, torn seating covers,ordered one sharing platter and they still got order wrong, overcharged for drinks on bill which we already had paid for and its also...fairly expensive. There are better options close by with much better value and better service. On the positive side...... food was tasty. Will not be going back. Up your game or will go under.
