I found my new breakfast spot when staying on the west side of Seneca. The food was delicious, service was spot on and you can’t beat the prices here. Will be back for more.
Had our first two evening meals here during a short trip to the Finger Lakes Region. Couldn't have been more satisfied with the literally pure home style cooking by the very talented ladies who created our various dishes. All of the ingredients in our meals were very fresh from a dinner salad, a cold plate and beautifully prepared fried cod. Even the great strawberry rhubarb pie was home made by a local resident. Very efficient, friendly staff, fair prices and a nice, relaxed setting. As the cafe gets crowded at dinnertime, it's recommended that one consider an early evening meal.
THE best burger in the Finger Lakes fresh, never frozen, hand shaped patty with homemade buns! Cooked medium rare! THE best pie in the Finger Lakes crust rolled thin with ceramic rolling pin. Cherry perfect not too sweet, not too sour. One of 10 varieties.
Ate here recently. Here was my pros and cons. Pros: small town diner. Come in and seat yourself. I was there Mexican night and the food was good. Cons: our waitress got our order wrong. When she brought our food I told her politely it was wrong and told her what we had actually ordered. So she went to the kitchen and then brings out the correct food but charged us for the wrong food as well as the correct food. Then she never asked about refills but sat on her phone and talked with the other 2 waitresses. It was obvious she didn’t care about us or her job. Id eat here again but hopefully she isn’t working. Good food but bad service snd paying for her mistake. Maybe next time will be different.
