Definitely going to be coming here more often. Also appreciate how they use cash app to pay appreciate that. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
Best coffee shop around Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Cowboy Panini
The staff was okay. The women were pleasant, but the man was terrible. He was impolite and patronizing. The coffee was decent, but they had run out of most types of milk, so only alternatives were offered. Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
This restaurant is perfect for getting work done, with friendly staff who provide excellent service. The price per person ranges from $10 to $20. The atmosphere is rated a 5 out of 5, and recommended dishes include the Iced Latte and Chia Latte. There is plenty of parking available, including free parking in a lot.
Maybe I am out of touch to believe that coffee shop should be friendly, and welcoming. I was a first time visitor and found that to not be case here. I take no joy in saying this as it seemed to have a lot potential with many cool things besides coffee, my experience in my first visit makes a return to check out their other offerings unlikely. A more detailed review is below for anyone interested in reading. Found a google result of Cool Beanz the morning of Sunday 9/17 as I was looking to grab a coffee to enjoy on the beautiful morning. Went in around 10:30 am. There was one family heading out after finishing their meal and another customer standing by front counter. I ask the customer by the front counter if he is in line, and he says no. So I go up and stand in front it and there is a young lady employee who looks at me , but does not say anything. So I ask if this is where I order? She responds that she will get me over there in just a couple of minutes, and points to a register on a side counter that is perpendicular to the front counter. I say ok, thanks. Shortly after I go over there an older gentleman with grey hair and a beard who I assume to be the owner or manager comes over after finishing some work he had been doing. He again doesn’t greet with a “hello” or “good morning”, but asks what he can get for me? His tone was not rude or surely, but it would be big stretch to describe it as friendly as well. I really only mention it as these small things kind of added up to make the overall experience for me less than enjoyable. Any way I ask if the daily brew can be ordered to go? He looks like I am an idiot and says some thing like “uh, you mean the brewed coffee and loos over my shoulder and I turn my head to see a coffee dispenser on the wall behind. This I felt was bit rude as he should noticed I was a first time customer and said something friendly like yes we have the brewed to go, what size would like? So I say something about ok, I just serve myself to which he affirms. I let him know I would like a medium which he rings me up and then walks away after I pay. I am still standing there waiting for a cup. I am unaware at this time that there to-go cups on self above the dispenser as I didn’t see them when I briefly glanced behind me earlier. So, I stand there waiting and after about 90 seconds the first young walks back over to counter in front of me. I think ok maybe she is going to give me a cup, but she appears to be working on another task, perhaps putting together a call in order. After a few seconds though she does make eye contact with me and says “oh, what size did you order?” She hands me the cup after I tell her medium and mentions as I walk away that could have also grabbed one from the self above the dispenser behind me. So to be fair there was nothing wrong with the quality of the coffee, and the prices seemed to be very reasonable. Like I mentioned in the opening I may be out of touch to expect old fashioned customer service like a friendly greeting, a smile, or maybe just recognize that I am clearly a new customer an briefly explain how things work so I don’t feel like an idiot. I worked as a bartender at corporate seafood restaurant when I was in college and that level of customer service was non-negotiable. To wrap I just really didn’t care for the guy who I assumed to be the owner and found his ambivalent attitude off putting. The experience stands in stark contrast to a small coffee shop (not sure of the rules about promoting another business in a review, so I am not naming it) I recently discovered in the nearby town of IDA whose staff are incredibly friendly and nice.
