We had carbonara and to be honest wasn’t the best we ever tried very salty). The food selection wasn’t great, the setting didn’t look good. The gravel from the outdoor wasn’t perfect as flooring since the dust was flying all over the place. Could be a nice place but, needs lots of improvement. The servers were ok.
The service is consistently fantastic here, and the food is great. The quantity, at least with the gluten free version of the burger, is disappointing. I’ve ordered three burgers in the last two months. The first two, on (amazing!! gluten free bread, were noticeably smaller than the regular burger and had no lettuce. The third (I enjoyed today was lettuce wrapped- which they charged me $1 for- apparently means two single pieces of lettuce on either side. There’s less than a tablespoon of chopped grilled onions. As a hungry, active breastfeeding mom, I’ve been left wanting more. The burgers at Red Hills Market down the road are much more satisfying. But the service and the food here are overall positive experiences.
Trellis is an amazing gem in the heart of the Dundee hills. We had a big group dinner they were able to accommodate and the service was just as incredible as the food. I would highly recommend visiting Trellis it’s a must!
Would recommend to everyone who is visiting Dundee. The food was 5 stars, the mussels, the appetizer fritters, the pasta all incredible. Was great to share too.The pastry chef baked the most stunning cake for our celebration and our waitress was an absolutely delight. Brittany helped me coordinate décor for the table and our table was ready upon arrival.I can't wait to go back.
Had high hopes for Trellis, but the food, service and atmosphere were just ok.
