Friendly Khmer Satay Noodle House

Edit (3/24): I ordered the satay beef burger. It’s amazing for the price! It’s a simple bun with coleslaw and beef, but the beef is delicious and tender, and you can’t beat the quality for the price! The customer service was also lovely—I highly recommend this place! Rating: 5/5 for price and quality!

Good lunch time quick bite as usual just like back in the days when I use to study that. <br/ Their noodle soup is unique and I think it’s a flavour you prob can’t get any where else in New Zealand. And still to this day u can get a free bowl of chicken bone when you eat there! <br/ Cheers for bringing back good memories! <br/

Had such a great meal with my family here, four adults and two kids nicely filling. Every dish was incredibly made and such wonderful service! Chicken is also halal. Best Korean restaurant I have been to so far, feels like each dish is homemade.

We went on a busy night and it took about 15 minutes for the staff to clean the table for us. The menu does not describe the dishes written in Korean so we had to ask the waitress about them, would like to get at least a sentence stating the type of meat in the stew and noodle dishes. The food was nice and steaming hot, for my Gamjatang the meat slided off the bone. The side dishes were too small in my opinion. They had discount for students.

Consistently the best Korean food over the past 10 years of being their customer. Lovely and attentive staff, and they catered very well for our large groups throughout 2023. The Gamjatang and Kimchi Pancake are my faves. They've recently updated the menu and the chicken bites are delicious.
