Velvet Burger (octagon) - Dunedin

If you're in search of a cozy spot to relax and enjoy some delicious, quick bites—especially a generously sized hamburger—this place might be just what you're looking for. As a couple visiting from the USA, we found it nearly perfect. We sat at high-top bar stools with a view of the street while savoring our hearty hamburgers and a large bowl of crispy fries, accompanied by a glass of wine and a beer. The women behind the counter were incredibly helpful in assisting us with our orders.

The burger was delicious, made with fresh ingredients and served on a soft roll. The chips were quite good as well. The service was friendly and efficient.

I visited the restaurant yesterday and ordered fries and a burger. I must say the fries were delicious, and the veggie burger was outstanding—really tasty! We also ordered a chicken burger, which was just okay. Overall, we had a great time. The lady who served us was very sweet and efficient. I went based on a friend's recommendation, and I loved it!

OG BEEF HOT CHIPS Recommended food here. The buns were soft, there were plenty of sauce inside and the meat pattie was deliciously cooked, but would have preferred the pattie to be more mince like texture. The hot chips were cooked perfectly golden and crunchy. The aoili sauce complemented it well.

Dunedin is nice, small place and Velvet burger is a place where you want to eat every day. They also have vegetarian meals.
