Jack Pallino's Pizza - Dunedin

We visit Jack's frequently for the great pizza. Love the Napolitano style. Also we like the meatball ricotta appetizer which comes with bread sticks. Staff are friendly and there are lots of sports TV's on the patio if you like that. Great on Sundays.

Partner and I went to Dunedin today and walked past Jacks. We walked in and were immediately greeted. Menu had some great options. We went with the Americana, a good ole pepperoni pizza. It was a 12 pizza (6 slices). More than enough pizza for the 2 of us. Rather than processed parmesan, they grated it fresh for you table side. The pizza and 2 beers hit the spot.

Burrata salad is to die for. The truffle oil makes it so yummy. The chicken bacon ranch pizza is also delicious! The atmosphere outside is a lot of fun. We went to watch some football on a Sunday afternoon. Our server was very polite and very good.

A friend recommended Jack Pallino’s to me a couple months ago. Once I tried it, I haven’t stopped coming back. The pizza breadsticks are so delicious! The sauce for breadsticks is simple but so good, Idk how they do it but I love it! Service is good, sometimes great depending on the server. One time we received breadsticks that were still cold hard in the middle; they made a new batch right away that was much better. My only critique is that on two occasions we have asked for appetizers specified we wanted them out first, but everything came together. I can appreciate food coming out quickly, but it can make a guest feel rushed we are not the type to lallygag, just want 5-10 mins between app pizza/entree). Perhaps next time I’ll try ordering an app and then wait til it arrives to order the rest.
