As for the hospitality and customer service, it was decent but had room for improvement, so I’d rate that a 7 out of 10. The ambiance was classic for a Japanese restaurant—quite simple—but I can see it evolving into a trendy spot in the neighborhood. I’d love to see some fun decor added. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and left feeling very satisfied. Thank you for the wonderful food!
The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is inviting, and there’s a solid selection of traditional dishes. However, it would be nice to see a bit more variety in the sake options. The pricing is reasonable, and the service is quick. Overall, a great dining experience!
We visited this restaurant last night. It wasn't our first choice, but many places are closed between Boxing Day and New Year's. It's located a bit down an alley near Minami. We were seated right away, even with a group of five, and they even moved another reservation to accommodate us. At Yuki, you should order several dishes since they’re all quite small but also reasonably priced; sharing is a great option. I had miso soup and tried some edamame (those salty beans), which were excellent. I also ordered agedashi tofu, but that was disappointing. This is usually my favorite dish elsewhere, but it wasn’t very crispy, which let me down. Fortunately, I also ordered a pork hot pot, and that was fantastic, featuring a delicious spicy broth packed with vegetables. I also tasted a friend's soft shell tempura crab, and wow! I’ll definitely be getting that next time; I highly recommend it. Overall, Yuki is a nice spot for a budget-friendly night out with a great atmosphere.
The food was wonderfully flavorful and fresh. I particularly enjoyed the sashimi plate paired with tempura vegetables and prawns, as well as the pork belly and chicken. The total cost was $69 for two people, which included a one-liter jug of Japanese beer. I will definitely return!
