My partner and I are huge fans of Asian cuisine, but we also enjoy a good old-fashioned burger or steak, and the Dunsy restaurant has a diverse selection that caters to all tastes. We particularly enjoyed the pork belly bao and the dim sum soup.
This restaurant is a fantastic choice for a meal, with excellent service, delicious food, and a beautiful setting both indoors and outdoors. It offers the best service in Dunsborough.
The new owners are doing a fantastic job and obviously know what and the prices are very reasonable.they're doing. Menu is small but something for most tastes. Drinks can be purchased separately from the club bar at reasonable prices.
My family bring me here for a birthday celebration. There are 14 of us, and it is a Saturday night, so the dining area is crowded and acceptably noisy. This is obviously a popular venue. But for me there are pluses and minuses. My wife has fish and 'weed salad' - my name! When it is possible to put together creative and interesting salads, I fail to understand why restaurants continue to put out sad piles of green leaves, and call it salad. I have a lamb shank with vegetables. The meat comes nicely off the bone, but the vegetables are virtually euncooked. I am not impressed. So I wouldn't return here for the food. But there is an upside. The tables are covered with butcher's paper and crayons are provided: a great way of encouraging group activity. The serving ladies are friendly, welcoming and a lot of fun. And on hearing that it is my birthday, they provide a bowl of cream and ice real with a candle! I am impressed!
The menu has something for everyone, with a couple of great quirky items. This is better than good, honest food. It is prepared by a chef who cares about his product. The french onion soup was superb. The squid was so tender it nearly melted in your mouth. The fish special was just that; 'special'. And If you like chicken parmigiana then I suggest you get down there and order it. The best I have tasted. Service came with a genuine, friendly smile - a rare experience. We will definitely be back.
