Found this little gem of a cafe on the very last day of our holiday. I wish I'd known about it sooner. Fantastic, friendly and welcoming staff. We were treated like old friends from the very start. Exceptionally reasonable prices, and brilliantly made full Scottish breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely visit again!! Wish I could give more than 5 stars.
Food was delicious (too busy eating to take a photo! and service was great. Tea came in a proper teapot and the bread that came with my soup was warm and delicious. We showed up for lunch 15 minutes before the shop closed for the afternoon, but the staff did not rush us at all. Excellent meal.
Five stars rating is not good enough for the lovely experience we had at Waterside Bistro. From the beginning our waitress was incredibly kind and friendly, I am sorry I didnt caught her name, she allowed us with our 2 large dogs inside on a rainy day, the food was great, the prices are very reasonable and our dogs appreciated the treat and the fuss they received, needles to say the service and the food were exceptional. It was a great way to end our stay in the Isle of Skye. Thank you!
This cafe is a little hidden gem of a place. It sits at the end of the petrol station in Dunvegan. Its only small but well layed out do you can socially distance easily. It is very much a dog friendly cafe and the staff enjoyed fussing our friends dogs. The staff were very friendly the food was delicious. I would reccomend the prawn sub roll with salad and coleslaw. The meal was superb and the salad dressing was particularly scrumptious. This jewel of Dunvagen Cafe is highly recommended.
