Been coming here for 3 years, brought family and friends from all backgtounds, always a good time. The staff is always friendly and make you feel part of the family. I love the atmosphere they have created and the work they do with the community. Awesome veteran-owned company that never stops showing love to our troops!
The setting is perfect! At long last, the residents of DuPont have a cool new hangout spot! These men have accomplished a lot. Opportunity abounds in this setting. Big tables, comfy chairs, and plenty of TVs. When I went there, they brewed three of their own beers to serve on tap, but I'm sure they have plans to expand. I'm glad to hear this, and I look forward to hearing about their future success.
We recently had the pleasure of visiting FOB (Forward Operating Base), a remarkable brewery restaurant located just outside of Fort Lewis in DuPont, Washington. As a veteran, stepping foot into this establishment instantly brought back fond memories of the enlisted person's clubs on bases l've been apart of.From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warmest and friendliest staff who made me feel right at home. One of the highlights of FOB is their exceptional staff. Josie and Shanelle are absolute gems who go above and beyond to provide top-notch service. Every time we visit, they greet us with genuine smiles and make us feel like a valued customer. Their attention to detail and dedication to ensuring a memorable experience truly sets FOB apart. The ambiance at FOB is reminiscent of the camaraderie and familiarity found within military establishments. The rustic decor, combined with the welcoming atmosphere, creates a comforting environment that makes you feel connected to the armed forces. It's the perfect spot to gather with fellow veterans or military personnel, as it exudes a sense of belonging and understanding. Now, let's talk about the star of the show--the beer, seltzer, cider! FOB boasts an impressive selection, each brewed with passion and expertise. Whether you're a hophead or prefer something more on the malty side, or you’re a cider person, their unique selection will leave you satisfied. In conclusion, FOB is more than just a brewery--it's a nostalgic haven for veterans and military personnel alike. With its incredible staff, reminiscent atmosphere, and delicious offerings, FOB provides a true taste of home away from home.We highly recommend stopping by FOB for an unforgettable experience.Tim and Rhonda
I’m a Soldier with 14 years in the Army, and I’ve been stationed at JBLM for 2 years. Always wanted to check out FOB Brewing and finally got around to it last weekend.Seems like a fun brewery, love the nod to military history and the military decor throughout. Beer was also pretty good. My issue is with the staff. My wife and I were very friendly as we ordered our beers but the manager was very rude. She was very aggressive and argumentative after asking a friendly question about the brewery. Definitely not what I or my wife expected from a military friendly business. And we were both very surprised. The owner should really address this hostile behavior with the staff..I know my wife and I aren’t not the only ones who have had a negative experience here. We felt unwelcome and after finishing our beers we left and went to Macnamara’s.
Very disrespectful red headed girl that works there. TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE AND EXTREMELY RACIST !!! This is her.To answer your response if you have cameras you can clearly see he was already seated long before she refused to serve us and that was new to the minor because he always has gotten his chips and cash it out himself. You will not disrespect us when your establishment is “family friendly “ and refuse service when he was told not more than two times….you should put no kids allowed. Good job blocking me on facebook as well it was very professional by your end. I see that not only her but the owners are also part of the racism. Actions speak louder than words and what you guys did and the way you expressed in front of a minor was unacceptable and as a mom is my job to protect him and explain to him that sadly there are establishments and people like you in this world.
